I'm about to put my car up for sale, it has a small stain on the front seat and I was wondering what is best to remove it with - I'm worried about making it look even more noticeable.
I should think the stain is either coffee or hot chocolate, and has been there for a few months. I've looked on the internet for a solution, but so many sites give different solutions. Thank you for any help.

How big is the stain?
Hire a Rug Doctor, and get the upholtery tool (hose pipe).

It will bring all the seats up nicely.
While you've got it, you could clean the house aswell.

It's quite a small stain, Welshyorkie, about the size of a 50p piece, but it's right in the middle of the seat - so quite noticeable.
Thanks for the suggestion about Rug Doctor, Hopkirk, but I would prefer a cheaper alternative at present.
An old coffee/chocolate stain isn't going to be that easy to shift - but I would try one of the best performing upholstery cleaners from this Autoexpress test:
