Tropical Fish Water Treatment
Hi
I am setting up a 640 litre aquaium and am told that every time I do a water change (weekly) I should add a solution to treat the water. I have been recommended a product called Stress Coat. Does anyone know if this is the right thing to do and if so is it available online in a big container (preferably about a gallon).
Thanks

I have a tropical tank but not near as large as yours and each week i partially change the water I always add 2 products to the tap water the first one is Tetra Aqua Safe and the second one is Stress Zyme which controls the stress the fish may feel when adding the fresh water in.....
Hope this helps?

Mains water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane where almost every impurity is removed leaving 99.9% pure water. They are invaluable in marine tanks and are becoming more popular with trops.
When you use RO water, mix it 50/50 with treated tap water.
