deleting user names at log in

I have a lot of wrong user names prompts when I log on how can I delete them and start afresh its a drop down box with all wrong spellings missed letters etc and its with ntlworld as my isp

(the regular one, not the one saying Itanium).

that should have an option in it somewhere to clear usernames on logon.

Don't know if it works on the login box but it certainly does with others:

move the cursor over the first name in the list, which highlights it.

hold the delete key down until they've all gone

If this is an application that you're running on Internet Explorer, such as eBay log in, then you should go to Tools > Internet Options... , select the Content tab, click on AutoComplete... and click on Clear Forms.
