AOL voice = joanna lumley?

when you open aol, a voice greets you - is this joanna lumley?

I know its unlikely but just wondered - perhaps its a soundalike?

Don't know if this is dependable info (and I don't use AOL myself either) but here's a quote from a PC Advisor forum concerning AOL complaints: Yes it is Joanna Lumley, just turn her off.

Quite! I was thinking the same thing. I find her voice has the opposite effect...

She was on the Jonathan Ross Show and admitted it was her voice.
She apparently got paid a lot of money to do the voice recording.
