This week's game has closed and I can now reveal that BigMac's chosen links were:

As BigMac stated, I thought this might have been a low-scoring week. At that time, I didn't know what he had planned for you by way of an introduction. When I saw it posted, I thought everyone would become instant triple-hitters.
But no. Only four triple hitters.
In fact, out of 30 players, even WITH the hints, 8 (over 25%) still failed to score!

Not knowing about BigMac's proposed hints, I had even included a few in Friday evening's 'shrubbery' post.

For instance, I said "Seekeerz has the pleasure . . ." but she didn't pick up on it.

There was a slower than usual start with the first guesses clocked in at 9:02.

Tearinghair was first with THIRD PARTY and seven others were in time for a bonus too (2 points each)

Roslyn251254 then became the first double-hitter, picking up PUBLIC HOUSE as well. Six others were in time for the bonus points as well.

At 9:04, Manxiemo became the first triple-hitter claiming to be a PLEASURE SEEKER as well. Six points in total for her.

The final link of PRIVATE PROPERTY (no hint given) was chosen just two minutes later by jobjockey


There were in fact FOUR triple hitters: Manxiemo, x-ray, cliffyg and patchett, but for being first, AND the highest scorer this weekend . . .

I have noted that kettledrum slipped in under the radar while I was preparing to post so she earned 2 points as well and they are now on the abacus.
