Stand the cartridge with the print head in a saucer of hot (not boiling!) water and leave until water is cool then dab print head with a paper tissue to check if the ink is flowing. If the coloured ink (red, yellow & blue) isn't showing repeat as necessary.
When you think it is OK, print a single line of capital letters in each colour.
If any colour shows white or pale streaks running through the capital letters then either repeat the water treatment or print a half page of that particular colour to see if it will clear itself. Keep repeating until the colour prints OK.
Using the printers own cleaning program will only waste lots of ink of all colours unnecessarily. Printing a line of each colour will indicate which colour to clean and print until flowing clear without wasting any ink.
