presumably you can go back to your GP for a letter stating you got better faster than expected and therefore can get back to work sooner.
i have just gone back when ready and never probs with going back early.

The employer could be in great trouble if you go back to work before a doctor's certificate runs out. It is against employment law. Also, your employers liability insurance would be negated if you were to have an accident at work whilst you are signed off. It is important to get a new certificate from the doctor with an earlier date on.

Your doctor has to be happy for you to go back to work i dont think they like going back on there sick line it kinda makes them look like they dont know what there talking about when they origanaly give you the sick line!
