Watched an episode of Antiques Roadshow last night.

One of the 'experts' was in a store and whilst they were nattering on about the item in their hand, there was an armchair with a floral covering.
I thought, no! Who'd buy that?

Would you, could you, do you do second hand items?

My suite is second hand and lovely.

I think it's all to do with style of the home and personal taste.
Crafty, how's you doing?
Not so bad thanks alba. The doc doesn't think it's my vertigo returning, he thinks it's just because I am sleeping so badly that first thing I'm just muzzy for a couple of hours.............

silly question, have you had blood sugars checked out?
(I know I know) You've had all the tests yar-dee-da-da. And you're sick of them and the doctors.
As I said Alba it was 2nd hand but came with beige loose covers.
Yes of course Not second hand Alba pre-loved.
Love second hand things Alba, I have a lot of them in my house and wardrobe. I buy my jewellery at charity shops, and I am a car boot master ! Couldn't get by without them .
We had second hand stuff when we got married .My Mum gave us a dressing table and chest of drawers which we still have over forty years later .God knows how old they are now ,she had them when I was a child !
You can get some nice second hand stuff if you look around .I prefer things with a bit of character rather than all this flat pack stuff .Our home is a bit of a hodge podge of things inherited, not just furniture but other things like china and pictures .
