Buddleah And Honeysuckle Cuttings .

I planted some buddleah and honeysuckle cuttings in pots ,in good compost and used hormone rooting powder,but they have died.I dont have e greenhouse so I left them in a sheltered spot in the garden,Is it too late now to try again?

Not sure about Honeysuckle but Buddleah seems to root at any time of the year, I just leave the cuttings in water on the window sill until some roots start to show, then pop them into some soil.
Same with honeysuckle.
Sorry, forget that, I was thinking of Fuchsias not buddleias.
I wouldn't bother with rooting hormone. For buddleiah I cut a long stem into 6" pieces and poke them all into a large pot of a mix of soil and compost...most of them usually grow.
For honesuckles I put a few stems in water until some or all form roots.
I've grown some from cuttings by stripping off all but the top leaves from a stem of approx 1 foot long. Then put the stem in the ground to a depth of about 6 inches, and that was it.
Not too late to try again, I'e done this at different times during what passes as spring and summer.
