I cannot sleep. That poor poor soldier butchered today. My god, what must his parents be going through.

Such savagery. What sort of world has this one become?

I'm not putting this for comment or answer; just cannot sleep. A dreadful day.

I can't sleep either, i'm scared to close my eyes as i know the image i'll see.

I'm like you, I can't bear to think what his parents, family and friends are enduring, it was one of the most barbaric things i've witnessed.

It's just the way that everyone seemed so calm like they knew the soldier was the target and they weren't in danger.

That was strange. You'd think people who have scattered / scarpered? The brave woman who tried to comfort and help, though it must have been far too late for either.

Maybe it was him telling people to film it. I'm sure we've only seen a fraction of his rants.

I can't believe how brave that lady was who comforted him and shielded him, the damage was done but in some small way i'm relieved someone was looking after him, 20yr old, I can't quite comprehend it at all.

His identity and photo will soon be released I suppose. That will make it seem even worse. I just hope he died quickly, he poor boy - a solider maybe, but a boy still. An horrendous thing. Truly horrendous.

Lets hope the car killed him or at least rendered him unconscious.

The UK the government is failing in its responsibility and duty to protect British citizens by allowing people like this into this country, regardless of how long they're here, they breed.

They may be English and have a UK passports but as many people know they still see the UK as an enemy.

If they are English there isn't much that can be done about that!

I feel so sorry for the witnesses. That's a hell of a lot of counselling that may be needed. I don't know how his family and friends will get over this, or even his fellow soldiers.
