I have a competency based interview on Monday and though I have found some questions to plan around I was hoping anybody might be able to give me some tips??

They set out to explore your knowledge, skills, attitudes or behaviours and may seek examples in this context from your real life experiences.
Without knowing the job role or person specification it is difficult to point you further in the right direction.
What's the name of the company as a matter of interest? I only ask this as I used to work for a top specialist recruitment consultancy who has an office in Birmingham! They dealt with the recruitment of retail managers.
The thing to remember with competency based interviews is that you will score highest on them if you can provide loads of examples of when you actually did what you are talking about. For a recruitment consultancy you should definitely expect questions that measure the following competencies... teamwork, driving sales, meeting targets, initiative, working under pressure, working to targets and deadlines.
