I have a 2004 Mondeo LX 2.0l TDci and the cruise control does not operate. When I press the "on" button on the steering wheel nothing happens. There is no incator light on the control panel. Any ideas?

At the risk of seeming patronising, have you made sure that when you activate the cc by pressing the on button you then reach the speed you wish to cruise at and then press the set button on the right side. It is that which locks in the electronics. By activating on no cc can be accomplished.


On then get to speed then set.
