i am presently coming off medication which put a great deal of weight on me.i am coming down bit by bit but every so often i weight myself in the morning and when i weigh myself again at night my weight could of flucuated by half a stone or more.i have tried out so many different scales and i seem to be having the same problem with every one i try.is it possible to flucuate that much or could i just be getting an unusually unfortunate sequence of dodgy scales.

yes it is possible to fluctuate that much by what u eat and drink between those times. dont weigh yourself to much it can put u off.
stop weighing yourself so often - why would you want to weigh yourself twice a day??? it is not only possible but entirely probable that your weight will be considerably different in the evening than it is in the morning. when you wake up you are dehydrated and have little food in you - by the end of the day you have loads of water in your body and have prob just eaten a big dinner thus heavier... stop worrying about it - and judge your fat reduction by measuring yourself (one a week) to see if you are actually shrinking or better still get a proper body fat analysis scales
You are weighing yourself far too often, which will lead to you getting discouraged. Weigh yourself once a week, first thing on Monday morning, with no clothes on. Then at least you are being consistent.

Ditto to all the other writers. You are going to get yourself wound up every day if you weigh yourself twice! Its common sense that you will weigh more at the end of the day than at the beginning. Just learn to stay away from the scales - they are a dieters worse enemy - after chocolate!!
