Who else is absolutely fed up with the horrible weather we are having here, sick and tired of feeling cold even though wearing layers of fleecy clothes, and the fact that the heating is going on for an hour to make it bearable, just does not seem believeable at the end of May!
Where oh where has the British summer gone - again?

I blame the previous government, they happily squandered all the nice sunny times with no thought whatsoever for the future!
Lashing with rain here in Leicestershire and gale force winds howling round the house. Fire on and staying in despite loads to do in the garden.
Gutted that we have missed half the Summer already - nights start drawing in again in a months time! Grrr!
Could just be the reason Frank! Actually James it doesn't bother me too much but can understand how it does others. I think in this country we can expect most kinds of weather in any month, I recall my mother telling me they had snow in June many years ago lol....just goes to show our weird and wonderful (!) weather is alive and kicking (smile).
Only a month away from longest day !.
That was 1976 Daisya, we had snow right at the end of June then exactly one week later we were lying sunbathing in the garden in a heatwave which lasted until September and we were crying out for a spot of rain - the government even appointed a Minister for Drought!
our heating is on,just been out into the garden..the wind is freezing...i bet the energy companies are laughing all the way to the bank...again...
British weather eh ann... never a dull moment, though I would rather have what we get mostly after you see and hear what other parts of the world go through; I expect a lot here may say the same.
freezing here ... wouldn't be surprised if it snowed
//wouldn't be surprised if it snowed// Yes ael the sky is so grey it does look full of snow. We had 2 hailstorms yesterday which left the lawn white over, I took a photo.
OOOOPs - Wheelie bins just gone crashing over - must go out and pick them up before they go walkies down the road!!!
its very depressing,we plan to go to the coast.lakes at weekends but cancelled time after time.must be bad for the seaside b@b businesses etc
I hate it at the moment as i can only wear sandles/flip flops out
It's all to do with Global Warming....if you care to believe that.!!

Al.
I turned my heating off a few days ago but had to put it back on again yesterday.
if we are getting this c**p weather due to global warming are the polar bears getting all our sunshine.
Blooming horrible here too --rain and more rain even if it drizzle.
At least we have AB to help to keep us occupied while waiting for some sunshine x
And we have a few rays of sunshine in AB. Thanks Ann.

Its quite bright here (East Devon) but god its cold. Heating on again. Since I started this its gone grey and looks like rain. I just wish there was someone to complain to.
Cricket season has started in earnest - 2nd test at Headingley - delayed by rain - now that's what I call summer!!!
