I am just getting online quotes for our home insurance. We made a claim for storm damage last November but our current insurance company wouldn't pay out - is this still classed as a claim?
Thanks.

If you are worried then state that you made a claim but no payment was in fact paid.

Why was your claim turned down? Was it due to "wear and tear" rather than storm damage?

Morethan wouldn't entertain the claim as the force of the wind wasn't classed as 'storm' weather!
I've tried to state the claim on the quotes but they all asked for the claim amount! Also on the renewal from Morethan it doesn't say anything about losing our no claim?
If you are being asked about the amount of the claim then you state "NIL."
