I rarely watch TV but we're watching the football. Should be a good game. There are loads of other channels, but I agree it's also a good night for a barbecue

Yes have a TV with built in video and dvd players bit ancient but great as I have some classic videos, Godfather Trilogy, Hitchcock, and many more.

I actually have a video/dvd combi. The video player still works and the dvd don't!

If you have a computer then many TV channels now have "catch up" TV where you can watch many programs.

For example go to the BBC iPlayer and you can choose from hundreds of TV and radio programs.

there were three channels taken over with sport afternoon and into the evening, why? don't they think that we might like to watch a decent film, documentary. One can get out the dvd's, but weekend tv is horrible.

I feel the same most week nights when it is wall to wall soap or reality tv-don't begrudge anyone the sport. Thank goodness for BBC4
