Is it safe to return to TV & FIlm again?

Can we discuss quality programmes, such as House? Is anyone else enjoying it? What do you like/dislike about it?

I even think Hugh Laurie's acceptance speech at the awards was original and humourous.

I think it is the best drama on tv by a long way. Driven mainly by the plot of the episodes "sick person", it also gives little insights into what drives the central characters along the way. The personality clashes are so much fun to watch. I hope it stays this way and doesn't get turned into yet another soap opera where the only concern seems to be who sleeps with who. Long live House as we know it!

I have withdrawal symptoms.

Anyway no-one forced my arm up my back to either watch it or respond to Q's.

Same as you.

I have never seen house, but I am absolutely glad CBB is over. I cant stand all those reality tv shows. They are killing tv.
I have to say I was sucked in by CBB. I usually despise cheap trash TV but I felt the need to see how Barrymore, a childhood hero, would cope and how Galloway would expose how politicians really are (I'm sure it's not just him like that!).

House is infinitely better though. Good acting, strong characters and good storylines is a breath of fresh air on TV today.

Didn't really get into CBB this year, House on the other hand is Superb!! Although I've just moved to a house where I can't get C5! So going to have to go and buy a digibox just so I can carry on watching it.

i love house. is it just me or is anyone embarrassed to say they quite like jesse spencer in it?!
house is always good tv and i too am glad that cbb is over altho i did get sucked in a little towards the end !

Thanks all. I managed to pretty much avoid CCB, as I already knew too much about Mr Galloway (& wasn't too bothered about the rest) & I watched most of BB1 and CBB1 (for Jack Dee), but I am just tired of it - especially now BB seems to engineer issues & drama. It's not so much fly on the wall as wasp's nest on the wall. Everyone seems to want to talk about it all the time...anyway

I hope the House format will stay the same - I think it probably will after his 'date' in the first series, he must remain a recalcitrant misanthrope.
