Hi,
I am a very deep sleeper, and also very lazy...
Many times i just seem to sleep right through various alarms that i have aroun the room....is there any tips for becoming an early riser?

It means that your body is getting ready to wake up and when the alarm does go off you won't be in such a deep sleep and you will be more likely to hear the alarm.
They are quite expensive, but it works for me, especially in the dark mornings. It doesn't feel like I'm getting up in the middle of the night anymore!
I have exactly the same problem. I also turn the alarm clocks off in my sleep. Getting enough sleep is part of it, make sure you're leaving yourself enough time to have a good nights sleep. I've just started using a night mask, as I feel I have a better sleep with it on, and then take it off as soon as the alarm goes.
See, now i'm at work at i'm already tired, and I have to work in the pub tonight, which means I won't go to bed till gone midnight, which means i probably won't wake up tommorrow.
er.... the head banging and drawing the number on your forehead, are these wind ups?
Everybody has an internal body clock that regulates our sleep patterns, staying up late watching TV effectivly puts our clocks out of sinc as the light from the box tricks our brains into thinking its daylight. stay clear of TV's after 9pm. and get up 10 mins before sunrise and watch it come up. It doesnt matter if you go back to sleep again afterwards. do this for a few days in a row and you will find youre more awake and alert in the mornings
