I have just bought myself a Asus Desktop, windows 8 and my Nvidia Geforce GT 640 GRAPHICS card has the error code 43 on it.When I click on it ,it says that I am not currently using a display attached to it, and yet my monitor is attached using HDMI cable.
Any help,please

Have you installed all the necessary drivers?

I vaguely remember having something similar and I had to disable the mobo graphics before the card would be recognised. I would be surprised if this is now needed with a new computer though.

I`ve uninstalled drivers and reinstalled them, but it just keeps telling me that no monitors are connected and that an error code 43 keeps popping up.
It also comes up with "NVIDIA DISPLAY settings are not available"
I think this one has got to go back.
