i bought a laptop from brighthouse.after 5 months the screen went discoloured and full of stripes. i took it to brighthouse and they told me because i did not purchase their insurance i would have to take it up with
Acer. i returned the lap top to acer, they charged me £110 to replace the screen saying it was not covered under the 12 months warranty.when i got the laptop back it would not switch on. i returned it to acer who have now had it for 4 weeks. i was told by an acer rep that if it could not be repaired in 20 working days i would get a replacement or reimbursement.i have now received an e-mail from acer saying that they are still waiting for parts and i should return it to brighthouse because they have their own repair centre.
i asked-if acer cannot get the parts ,how can brighthouse because presumably they would have to get the parts from acer.
grateful for any suggestions
