hello nungate

fancy a piece of warm farmhouse fruit cake?
Love just about all cakes and pastries. Not fond of chocolate cake. I like the idea of black forest gateau but am usually disappointed with it. Love cream sponge with fresh strawberries
I'd love a piece Excel - I'll save it for after Queenie's cottage pie! She's busy in the kitchen fixing dinner - she's promised to bake tomorrow! yaay!
How are you doing yourself Excel?
Oh I'd forgotten Black Forest Cake, so hungry now :-(
Oh and Opera Slice .......... drool

cottage pie - yum
You're welcome to join us Excel, she does a really nice Cottage pie - I taught her everything she knows! (the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree) I doubt I shall eat much though still a bit woolly and wobbly ..

oh dear
i really hoped you would be feeling a little better by now
angel cake and walnut cake are my favs
a touch of renal colic I'm afraid, started on Saturday but that settled by yesterday the real trouble is the gout it has flared up again and the pills I take for it won't start to really kick in until tomorrow I think - though the kidney thing still lurks a little I may have to see the doc if it doesn't settle properly
Life is just a chair of bowlies ... !

well, my thoughts are with you

anything i can do................
Thanks Excel, I just have to keep on drinking - I shall float away on a river of bottled spring water .... glug glug glug
frangipane and rum babas,yummy
I've never been introduced to a cake I didn't like. My only living auntie, now 89, is Dutch and makes the most amazing pastries especially her strudels. The only trouble is we have to keep it a secret when we go visiting as I was always her favourite and the vultures know she still makes me a take home and duly arrive for their share.
