I found that Diamond was the most expensive quote I had - quoted me around 1500 for a year third party only - and this was five years ago! I got a really good quote from Budget at around 690 third party fire and theft. Was a bit dubious that because the insurance was so cheap that if I had an accident it would be a struggle to settle it, but when I did have an accident (not my fault!) in my second year of driving they were excellent. One tip - whoever yoiu insure yourself with, do not try to save money by not getting legal cover. It only costs about 20 extra and when I had my accident my legal fees were around 18,000 but luckily I had legal cover. Happy motoring!
