For as long as you may need them........all your life if need be.

They are combating the unsavory effects if histamine in the fight between the antigen and the antibody.
what sqad says - I take one every day I need it, certainly every day between March and October.
I'm in them for what is probably life (and it wasn't Sqad as prescribed them, neither).

Thank you all, sounds like i am stuck with them, but must admit i am taking a tablet about every 16 hours instead of 24, and the problem is not going away.
We really have tried to rule out every possible cause, have re-washed everything in non bio powder etc, still can't get to the bottom of it.

Thought i might add this, in case anyone else suffers. Went back to doc, he prescribed 150m of ranitidine twice a day plus the hydro stuff. two days later, all is fine, just the slightest signs, but my hands are now white, not red and blotchy, and i wake up without lumps and bumps everywhere. Magic stuff, and I feel so much better.
I too itch year round, face, eyed hands feet, I was taking certirizine, 2 daily, but now prescribed Loratidine (sp) and MUCH better.
