If a purchaser pays the money into my paypal account, how do I get to receive the proceeds. I can't find where this is explained on the ebay or paypal site.

Do ebay deduct their charges and credit the net proceeds to my credit card account automatically

You give paypal your bank account details when you register. There is a withdraw funds tab on the paypal page once you have logged in. Once you have completed the withdraw funds process it takes 7 days to reach your bank account.

Paypal charges are deducted automatically. Funds sit in your paypal account until you either use the money to make a purchase via paypal or withdraw it to bank account. I dont think you can withdraw to a credit card.

You are never charged to pay for anything with a paypal account.

You are charged when people buy off you and pay into your Paypal account if you have the premier account. This allows you to accept payments funded by credit and debit cards.

PayPal charge you 25p to withdraw money to your bank account if the balance is less than 50, otherwise it is free.

Do not leave money in your PayPal account - it is not earning interest and makes any chargebacks from buyers easier.

Further, if you use PayPal to pay for purchases you have less protection if you fund the purchase from money already in your account rather than funding by credit card. It will not cost you any more.
