Look at this interview as experience gained and next time you'll be even better.

Ah what a shame MM, still fingers crossed for the other vacancy. At least they had the decency to call you, I had an interview a month ago, I had to call them 2 weeks later to see if I was successful (not) but a letter woud be in the post, still haven't received it.
Hey I think you should be really proud of yourself. if they thought of you with a future position coming up you must have made the right impression. I've heard more crap talked about equality and diversity in the workplace than you can shake a stick at so try to take that with a pinch of salt. x
Sorry to hear that MadMen, I hate it when they get pedantic over words, I'm usually fairly good in interviews but I admit I'm not good with words and easily get tripped up on such questions, I shouldn't because I'm dealing with such issues every day in my work, its almost like they have set phrases in their heads and you must recite them accurately. Better luck next time.
