Can anybody recommend any good recruitment sites within the Oil and Gas industry?

My other half has been struggling to find work and has been sending his CV to as many agencies as possible. He has had 3 yrs experience within the industry.

If anybody can help that would be very much appreciated.

I dont know if anyone with personal experience will come on here and help. I just googled oil and gas recruitment and it showed there are 2.5 million websites! A lot of places to look but there may be something there you havent tried.

yeah i know its unbelievable how many sites there are. Suppose i was just hoping there would be someone browsing on here that maybe works in the industry, who could suggest which ones are good, because some of them are a nightmare the way they are layed out.

Hi there!

My uncle and my half-brother have both been working for Total and Shell for years. However, they've always worked abroad, and mostly in not so pleasant countries like Zaire, Nigeria (the white workers had to live on compounds, with security guards; in Nigeria my cousin got malaria and in Zaire the family had to be evacuated by helicopter because of the riots: they escaped with just the clothes on their back and lost all their possessions!); Muslim countries (Saudi Arabia; Iran: your wife and your kids stay in Europe because it's just not possible for western women to live there); offshore platforms.

In the UK, your partner could also look for job offers on commercial harbours' websites.

Is it onshore or offshore work he is looking for? If it is onshore I usually look at oilcareers.com. or oilandgasjobsearch.com
