Final clear proof that the whole of our legal system is out of touch with reality. Perhaps it is because the majority of our judiciary is so senile that they cannot remember what they had for breakfast, let alone the tragic things that have happened in schools and care homes over the years due to lax security. After much time and money has been spent improving security in these establishments, it has now been decided that the criminals that we have been making such an effort to exclude are to have their records wiped clean after a relatively short period of time, and welcomed in through the front door. What will be their excuse when the next Soham or Dunblane happens, and how many vulnerable people in care will be robbed by "ex" burglars before the penny drops?
