Has anybody had any experience with these things? Do they work?Trish reckons we've got a mouse but she doesn't want me to use a lethal trap because it was so "Tiny".

Never tried one, paddy. But you can get humane traps and then release them.

They do tend to come back though ...

Has Trish seen evidence of little visitor(s)?
my friend used them,,,,,,,,'' rubbish''

She thinks she caught a glimpse of one disappearing under the washer. If it was up to me I'd just put a couple of back breakers down and be done with it.
I've had one for 3 years now - called a PestBye - I know some people say they don't work, but it's done very well for me. You can change the frequency so that the little lighters don't get too used to the sound. If you have a large room or house you might need more than one.
Big Sis had them in her kitchen cupboards, paddy. Their entry point was an old outlet pipe hole for a washing machine. I had to fill the cavity wall and plaster it up. Set 3 Little Nippers and caught them all. Sorted.

Thanks for your input everybody, I think I'll probably end up with the nippers, tucked somewhere out of the way so Trish doesn't see them and feel guilty.
You'll be fine so long as they don't go off in the dead of night - they make an ominous sound in the wee, small hours :)
I have one it works, it sends them into next door !

I've got one of those Doc. It's mounted on a stick and cats seem to see it as the pointer to the potty. It works best f you launch it at the cat. :)
Utterly useless , we had mice, I watched them sitting on the sonic repeller without a care in the world.
Believe me the only thing that works is the old fashioned mouse trap. Live capture traps are useless as well.
They DO NOT work. Save your money. Useless and rubbish.

The nippers work, I put three down last night after Trish had gone to bed. Checked this morning before she got up and had caught one. I'll leave them down for a few days in case he'd got some relatives stopping.
// Never tried one, paddy. But you can get humane traps and then release them.

They do tend to come back though ...// Not if you take them up the nearest motorway & release 'em at the services.

WR.
When we had mice we got humane traps, guess who forgot to check them, poor mice starved to death.
lots of tests done on these Sonic devices over many years, they have proved that they clearly do not work! if someone has noticed a decline in their pest problem it is nothing to do with these sonic devices, if they worked I would never have survived in the Pest Control Industry for 13 years and Pest Controllers will never use these products. They are little more than a scam.

that is exactly what nearly always happens, not so humane. nothing is more humane than instant death.
