PC Tower and Sub

Would it do any damage to either item if i was to place the sub-woofer from my surround system in close proximity to my pc tower?

Nope - not unless the woofer's powerful enough to knock components about :)

The most important thing to keep away from PCs are magnets. Just don't do it.
