If the title is shared between you and your brother and sister, then you will have to discuss, with them, whether to hold onto the grave or pass it on.

i think he's trying it on, trying to gain ownership - why on earth would it be a legal requirement for you to relinquish your rights just to sprinkle ashes?
unless he just means you have to sign something giving him permission and either you or he has misunderstood what the document is...?
if not tell him he is free to put them there but you will not be giving up the rights - and I urge you to convince your brother and sister not to either - I cannot think what the son has in mind for the plot but there must be something if he is doing this.

I have lost both my parents, and also my oldest child.
I think of my mother and son every day, my father died when I was just a tot so don't remember him.
My feeling is that when the curtain closes at the crematorium, so the life ends. I visit neither my mother's nor my son's resting places, but it doesn't lessen my feelings for them.
I hope that when I leave this world, my children and OH will feel the same.

I own my own grave-plot. as far as I am concerned I give permission for the other five spaces whilst I am alive and after I die my heirs do
Permission only - title does not need to be transferred (anyway, to a DEAD person is hardly valid) ..
I think this is a come-on or a put-on or to put it politely your nephew has misunderstood the situation.
