....and I should be in the shower getting ready for an evening of free food and bubbles......not to mention a smattering of celebs!

Instead I am in the garden festering in shorts and t-shirt wondering if I'm really going to miss out on anything (beyond free scoff and vino).

My laziness really has reached a whole new level :-(

do you have to go?
Who's the celebs?

And what kinda food?
if they're serving cheese scones, then it's a must surely?
Watch out for tan lines if you decide to go.

I don't have to go, the food will be amazing (even if there are no cheese scones), the celebs will mostly be from Food & Radio........

I'm feeling ungrateful about not going but getting my backside into gear just ain't happenin'
"the celebs will mostly be from Food & Radio........ "

I'd pass too.
I wouldn't - FREE FOOD.
Is the wine also free? If so, go get dressed and showered woman!

Some chefs are quite easy on the eye though Boo....and they knock out good food. Radio folk have a face for radio....... There's likely to be a few aged rockers attending and I'll just have my illusions shattered. I'll stick to my garden chair a mull over the fact that I'm missing out on a sweaty train journey into London......
righto woman, what time do you have to get a taxi there?

Free food!
as Ummm says, and report back tomorrow :-D
aahh, a sweaty train journey, well that says it all really,

Enjoy the sunshine, we've just had a heckuva shower.
I would have a shower and then make the choice - you can always head back to the garden if the idea of the train puts you off that much (at that point).
Ed, you'd need a shower after a sweaty train journey though.
i'd go, free cheffy food :-)))))))
My cruise mate Margaret turned up today with one of her neighbours (whom I've never met) in tow.
I asked if they'd like a cup of tea and Margaret said "Oh we're not stopping, I've just brought here round to show her your wet room!!"
Then they buggered off................
revenge Crafty.
Next cruise ask her to check the inside of the lifeboat and accidentally let the release mechanism off.

Craft, think yourself lucky they didn't hang around expecting a share of your gin!

I've now seen some piccies on FB of this evenings shenanigans and realised that I'm missing out on catching up with a few old friends.........idleness really is my enemy :-(
