has anyone been watching this, i reckon it's one of the best thing on tv for ages, and much better than the dragged out and overblown Broadchurch.

It's very good and I'm on the edge of my seat all the time as he's so creepy Gruesome last night where he stabbed the guy with the scissors .Gillian Anderson is brilliant. They've commissioned a second series so I hope the case winds up in this one and they catch him and it doesn't end on a cliffhanger .

I was watching it but then seem to have lost the thread. Did they miss out a week (Bank Holiday Monday?). How many episodes have there been? I would certainly watch it again to see if I can follow what is going on next time?

next week's episode is the last in the series, i hope they make more.
Gillian Anderson is quite wonderful, as good as Helen Mirren in Prime Suspect.

I have seen the entire series and (for me at least) the last episode was very disappointing.

I have been watching this, but was disappointed with last night's. Why didn't that man just dial 999 instead of tackling the murderer himself and tell him the police are on the way? I agree Gillian Anderson is brilliant in the role, I want to be like her !

It is one of the best, very scary and atmospheric and all the characters are believable, the wife and kids are so natural will be awful when she learns the truth about her husband, agree Gillian Anderson is great, compulsive viewing.

I agree Em, it is compulsive viewing. There seems to be a dark edge to Gillian Anderson's character in this.

She is a brilliant actress and I was a huge fan of the X Files. I never missed an episode until David Duchovny left :o)

some parts of it are very dark indeed, the killing of the boyfriend was shocking, and performance by the actor playing the serial killer
is truly chilling.

It was that kill where it started to fall apart for me.
You heard her car pull up outside with him sat on her bed waiting but then 2 doors closed so clearly the meticulous killer will make a hasty exit but...no.
