What Relation?

After re-marrying, my Dad's new wife had a daughter, ie my half sister. Can someone tell me - what's the relationship between my half sister and my daughter?

Half aunt is what I thought - it just doesn't sound like a title that exists. Certainly one I've never heard used before.

I cannot imagine it is a title ever used, I always refer to my half nephew as my nephew and he refers to me as his aunt.

Just call her aunty. My children don't know that my step dad isn't my actual father (or that two of my siblings are half siblings, or that I have another dad, a step mother and another half sibling) it hasn't come up. It will do soon and I will explain, just hasn't been an issue.

Hi Sherrardk.
I should have explained, there's no 'situation' going on here. In fact I'm glad to say this all revolves around the very happy occasion of the whole family meeting up in Canada at Christmas for my brother's 50th. I've not seen my half sis in about 30 years and my daughter has never met her, simply because of a few thousand miles of separating ocean. It's actually going to be a brilliant get-together but I'm just curious about what certain relationships are called.
