Still Cannot Use Submit Button
I posted this problem last month(20th) and still have it.I cannot use the SUBMIT button when I try to post a question or an answer.I am using IE 10.This problem applies to both our desktop and laptop.Ab Editor suggested I clicked on torn piece of paper(compatability setting)but I can't find it on the tool bar at all.I found compatability setting in TOOLS but all it does is show which programmes are on it and can be added or taken off!The submit button is not highlighted.Just a grey colour.I do miss using this site. Please help with a solution.Am not very au fait with IT.Had to ask he computer how to find out what IE I was using so please try to keep any helpful suggestions simple. In case your wondering I am submitting this on a friend's netbook.

However it would seem simpler to switch to a decent web browser. Most of the 'regulars', here in AB's Technology section, use Firefox. It's really easy to install and use:

(Click the left-hand arrow, alongside 'English (British)' to download it, then double-click on the downloaded file to install it).

I have the same issue at work. It's since I had a new PC so it must be a setting somewhere. I use IE at work and at home so I don't post from work anymore which isn't a bad thing! Unless I switch to Firefox which is usual too much of a faff.
It does work in Firefox so as Chris says, download that from his link and use it instead of IE. You will be fine with it although you'll feel a bit unfamiliar. But if you have lots of favourites and are use to IE then just use FF for coming on here.
