Question

When I installed my new AVG yesterday (not a big deal) but the AVG has left at the bottom

saturday
date
skype

in that order I am used to them being vertical - straight across the bottom of the page - how can I change it.

I think you have to press Alt and one of the arrow keys until it gets to the bottom again

Your post is a bit confusing: "vertical - straight across the bottom of the page".
I assume that you mean horizontal.

I'guessing that either the task bat has been moved to one side of the page, in which case you can click and drag it back to the bottom, or that the height has been increased. If the height has increased, put the cursor at the top edge of the task bar until it changes to a double headed arrow, then click and drag downwards to reduce the height.

no nothing worked - yes i did mean horizontal. sorry where is the task bar - I just put arrow at top of say clock and clicked then clock came up same with others.

don;t know what I done there but clicked onto something language bar - took it off - and am back to what I want. Thanks again
