Self-select ISA's
1 Answers
I amthinking of getting a self-select ISA but need to know whether one can change the investment mix within the ISA or whether you are stuck with your selection for the year.
For instance, say I open a S-SI, purchasing 2k worth of BT shares and 2K worth of Barclays shares at the beginning of the tax year. Am I stuck with that selection for the year or can I sell the BT shares and purchase HBOS shares instead (all within the ISA).
Any help will be appreciated.

Admin charges vary (60 p.a at SC) as do trading costs, under a tenner per trade for the two above (+ 0.5% stamp duty for all purchases).
Needless to say there are many other firms offering online share accounts.
