Answers.com - Anyone Tried It?
4 Answers
I am a long term user of our luvly AB and will continue using it as my knowledge base. But I blundered into finding this (USA?) site. I have not used it or signed up. Anyone with experience of Answers.com? If so, pro's and cons please. Even ed welcome to comment (some chance, lol).

I find Answers.com hard to navigate in any meaningful way. If you're looking for something to supplement AB, this is the UK offshoot of a major US site: http:// uk. answers. yahoo. com/ and this is possibly the best US site: http:// www. answerbag. com/

Wow Buenchico as usual you demonstrate your vast knowledge - ty very much. Haven't tried your links yet - will sign out of my webmail first.
Interesting contrast with answers to same question in Crosswords section one very funny (ha-ha) one. Read them for a laugh.
As I responded there - alternative site or for other purposes is like having a spare tyre in the car.
Best answer, I'm sure cazzzz1975 agrees, goes to you Buenchico.
Kindest Regards to both,
SIQ.
