I couldn't think of which category this should be in, so it's going in history. Is there any truth in the story that the man who invented the dropper to put on the top of vinegar bottles became extremely rich because of it? Does anyone know what his name was or anything else about him?

Maybe he was the same guy who wrote to the Swan Vesta match company saying that if he was made a director, he could save them a fortune. His suggestion - put the sandpaper on only one side of the box...
