Hi Just Interested If Anyone Has Idea To Internet Issue On Keeps Needing The Router To Restart

I am on plusnet and been going fine with it for well over a year but now I seem to keep getting a prob where I can be on net and then the internet either just stops as in loses connection and doesn't come back or it says connected but doesn't work...if I restart the router all ok again...some days are way worse then other but just wondered if anyone new why.....as soon as I restart router it all ok again so just seems strange to me...

Can you get hold of another router to be sure where the problem lies ?

yes could try that.. been ok for ages as I moved from orange broadband to plusnet no problems till now...when I was with orange it happened all time and just got so annoying....But as it been ok with plusnet I thought it cant be router but I guess it is possible and worth trying another to be sure.

contact plus net they can see any problem you have at "their end" if the router seems to be the cause they will replace it free

As a plusnet user myself - 14 months or so - I can confirm similar is happening to me but not so frequently - once week or so.

oh right that's interesting to know I may ring plusnet up and see what they have to say about it then..like most broadband company start of good then turn to crap lol
