Microwave Ovens

Does anyone actually use all the settings and buttons on a microwave oven?

They seem to have things for dialling in weights, type of food, power settings and other details.

I just select an amount of seconds or minutes and press Go.

I think you would need training by Nasa to use one the way it is intended.

wharton - i know you are joking re the spoon in the microwave - but somebody out there getting a new one wouldn't know that the spoon particularly metal would blow the microwave up.
