looking for old song heard years ago on bob harris show

hi, years back i heard a song on a bob harris radio show i think??..it has the lyrics 'have you ever been to paris ,france....well i have '..thats about all i remember...its a song by a guy singing about how he's done all this stuff in his life..i have never found anything close to it in all my searching... any clues anyone? it sounded kinda pop rock style..not too hard on the ears but not easy listening slow style... any help would be great...thanks in advance..
