hi,

can any one tell me why i cough whilst cleaning my ears with a cotton bud, i'm always very carefull and don't push them in far at all?

My just be sensitive nerves, I can't answer the question I'm afraid but I sneeze when I pluck my eyebrows!

Nikster, I dont really know but our ears,nose and throat nerves ar all connected so possibly something to do with that? I cough as well btw. Natalie I sneeze plucking my eyebrows as well,dunno why though.

Thought I was the only one that coughed while cleaning my ears!!! Im normal after all :o)

why shouldn't i be doin it? answer this....whats nicer clean ears or yellow wax completly visable to any passing stranger???

or losing your hearing because you've perforated your ear drum (runny slimy discharge visible to every passung stranger). Or pushing lots of bacteris deep inside the canal and severely painful, red otitis media (ear infection). Get some ear drops instead!
