26d Yours truly in Tunisia with former African president. I have "M?I" and I guess it must be "MOI" - as in "yours truly" in French. But what is that to do with an African president?

I am completely baffled by the clue of the week: honest i.e. not lying (7). The only thing that springs to mind is "Upright" but I would like a second opinion. (Not the Tommy Cooper jokes, please!)
