Which Mobile Network in Uk is Cheap and Best for Students?

I would definitely go for "Pay As You Go" plan.. But would like to know which Network Provider is cheap and best.. such as Vodafone, 3, T-Moible etc..

need to do some research on coverage, i have 2 phones one on orange and one on T mobile, i cant even get a signal on the orange network where i live and im not miles from civilisation yet i dont get any problems on T mobile..

ASDA, 8p per min a call & 4p per text. Runs on the Vodafone network.

should say with tesco you can have 5"favourite" numbers which are 10 per min to any mobile network 5p for texts
