I'm trying to think of a song title and the artist. It is a song (I believe) from the 80's. The only information that I can give you is that it is a rock ballad, and the man singing it sings in a very high key. He almost sounds like a woman. I think the very end of the song is a capella. I know that's not much to go on, but if you listen to a group called The Darkness, the voice is similar.

Axl Rose from Guns n Roses always had a very good, operatic voice, could it be them. They had loads of hits in the 80s.

are the words "driving me crazy" in it.i think you might be thinking of aeorsmith.they had a song called crazy.it was a rock ballad and he sings in a high key.

10cc had a song called donna in the 70s,only other high pitch singer i can think of is singer from rush,
It might be Yes. Jon Anderson has a particularly high voice for a bloke. Try Wonderous Stories by Yes as a possible.

You drive me crazy was also one of Fine Young Cannibals songs and he had a high voice That was to The Tree.

There was also The Lion Sleeps Tonight by Tight Fit which was extremely high - I doubt thats what you're looking for tho:)

Thanks to all who gave suggestions. Unfortunately, it is none of the ones you guys mentioned...although they were good suggestions. The singer I'm thinking of has a more feminine voice rather than raspy, and sings even higher than Axl Rose. I believe the words "great big hill" are somewhere in the song, and no "driving me crazy" isn't in it. Driving me crazy is what this song is doing to me! Thanks again. If anyone has any further suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them, as I didn't even sleep last night trying to think of it. Silly, huh?

By the way, the sound is almost that of Rusted Root, if anyone has ever heard of them. They are the ones that sing "Send Me On My Way."

From Driving me Crazy... I found it...Well, actually, my daughter thought of it. It is "What's Going On" by Four non Blondes. It really is a great song. Check it out, and thanks again for your suggestions!

Oh my God! It's a girl singing. I always thought it was a guy with a really high voice. I was very wrong!
