I fully appreciate that appointment times over run but an hour and ten minutes at 2.30pm in the afternoon, when afternoon surgery started at 2pm? Mum had her usual light lunch at 12.30, but given that she wasn't seen until 3.40, the consultation lasted 10 minutes, we had a 20 minute walk to the car park and a 40 minute drive home - she was actually feeling faint (fortunately she knows to carry glucose sweets) And I stand over my point about the use of PCs - sitting for half the time with your back to the patient then printing off a page of signs, symptoms etc from the internet does not constitute "treatment" in my book.
