Gangs of New York

Watched 'Gangs of New York' last night but fell asleep about half and hour from the end (having stuck it out for over 2 hours!! Grrrrrr...)

I saw up to when Walter McGinn was killed by Bill 'the butcher' Cuttings after the elections.

Can someonr please tell me what happened ........ I am thinking they all didn't live happily ever after ;-)

As you might expect Lonardo killes Danial day in revenge for killing someone else earlier in the film.... I've never seen it but I can guess the ending.

Yep thats about right and Leonardo and Cameron end up being about the only ones standing in amongst all the dead bodies, what a suprise.

When I first got the chance to see this film I was looking forward to it immensely. What a disappointment! Only put up with about half an hour. Total kak! Couldn't believe Scorcese had directed it. And it was supposed to be an epic, something he'd spent about ten years planning. Sorry, just didn't appeal to me at all (and I usually love his stuff).
