We have just bought a small 'finca' in Andaluca. It has 2 recently planted Orange trees, one of which has blossom on it already. Does anyone know how long a tree has to mature before it starts baring fruit?

I would imagime if the tree/s have reached the flowering stage, then they should set fruit, if pollination is successful.

May your blossoms bare plenty fruit !

I have a pot grown lemon tree which is only 18" high and is loaded with flowers and baby lemons. Spring is the traditional time for citrus to flower.
