Well Nik Wallenda is walking. One step per appeal to "Jesus" and "The Lord". Looks a bit windy up there. That helicopter is making me both airsick and nervous. Last think he wants is air disturbance.

I might attempt to watch it, but like Daffy, I also have a fear of heights and find that even if something high is on TV, I find it very difficult to watch. I was reading something about this in the paper the other day, and they say that the worst bit about the crossing is the wind - now that is scarey!

It was quite ironic that on the news just now the item about this walk, showing him giving thanks to his deity for letting him safely cross the canyon, was immediately after the report from India about 1000 people dying in the floods; presumably that deity reckons that they don't matter compared to someone doing a stunt.
