Hi All, not sure if anyone can help with this.
My sister and I went to the pub yesterday, as is our wont, and had the usual pint of lager and half bottle of wine each. Unfortunately we can't even remember getting home and I felt quite unwell for the rest of the afternoon.
We have drunk the same several times and it has never had this effect before. We had had something to eat so weren't drinking on an empty stomach. Could it have been something that was wrong with the drinks? We both think it is really really strange.
Please no funny comments, it has really got us worried.
Thanks.

Wines can be adulterated, usually with the addition of cheaper products such as juices and sometimes with the addition of harmful chemicals and sweeteners to compensate in colour or flavour. Who knows what effects these unknown ingredients could have on your health or behaviour? Its worth contacting the pub just in case, as they could be totally unaware of any dodgy dealings.
